Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
